Just played this course a package that included tapas - from start to finish the experience was fantastic beautiful challenging golf course the friendliest most helpful staff I have ever encountered and to top it off the tapas were awesome and so much food we couldn’t face going out for dinner

Playing golf with FGC association, in a villa. Villa is great, cleaned every day, pool great, fridge and freezer. Breakfast great, all kitchen staff friendly and food good. Transfer to and from villa great. Inside main building is impressive with great views. Golf course monte Rei championship course is well maintained, challenging is one word, much sand and water are other words. Either way a great course, 2 courses to play, sun coming out. What more can I say.

Die Rezeptionistin sass missmutig und gelangweilt im Stuhl und nahm dann ebenso gelangweilt entgegen, dass wir eine Reservation für 3 Nächte haben - inkl. 2x Golf Euro 880.- pro Person! Als sie das Apartment zeigte fiel ihr auf, dass sie nur einen Schlüssel erstellt hatte. Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber, auch keine Kleenex oder Schlappen (5* Hotel)! Im Proshop war der Emfang nett auch Caddymasters. Platz super! Um Clubhaus fällt das Mobiliar auseinander! Essen gut, Personal sehr mittelmässig. Aperolspritz schlecht!! Und teuer Euro 12.- in Portugal!! Feedback konnten wir nicht beim Hotelmanager anbringen auch nicht beim Chef der Rezeption… Es musste der arme Angestellte 2 mal herhalten. Er zeigte Verständnis-wir denken er merkt, dass es bergab geht. Alles in Allem: zu teuer für die schlechte Leistung. Wir kommen sicher nur noch Golf spielen, obwohl auch viel weniger Spieler unterwegs waren, aber ohne Hotelaufenthalt. Schade, schlechtes Management!!!

We stayed in one of the luxurious golf resort residences which had a fabulous view over the golf course. The apartment was spacious, well laid out and very comfortable. We had breakfast in the clubhouse every day which was delicious. A fabulous choice and all freshly prepared. The staff without exception were all extremely attentive and very friendly- the perfect combination. We played a couple of rounds on the course which is stunning ! It is a wonderful lay out in a beautiful setting. Each of the holes is different and the course was in immaculate condition. Again every member of staff we were in contact with was extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Throughout the resort the staff went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable experience.It is one of the most beautiful places we have played and stayed.

Disappointing
Apartment style. Dirty and stained sheets. No sleeping pillows. Cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom and a colony of ants in the living room. Breakfast was a fixed menu of stale pastries and frozen/not fresh fruit, no buffet. Overall more of a 2-3 star experience than 5 star.

After reading some of the negative comments about the state of the course in recent weeks we didn’t have high expectations, we played in early October and found the course, greens and the staff all all great, we have no complaints and look forward to playing again in the future.
